Mariposa Grove --
An arts and activism co-housing community
Mariposa Grove is an almost 3 years old activism and arts community in North Oakland. When we?re full, Mariposa Grove will house a total of thirteen people. Our common purpose is to support each other in our varying pursuits in the arts and activism arena. We are working to live together sustainably and supportively, valuing diversity, clear communication, and hard work. We imagine a future sharing many meals per week, playtime, outings, gardening and art projects. We plan to devote resources (money and time) towards a beautiful garden, good food and spaces for creative projects. Currently, we are looking for 5 additional members. The next round of interviews begin March 1.
