DOMU AFRICA
Domu Africa is a West African band showcasing traditional percussion on a variety of African drums and vocals from Islamic influenced praise singing and Baye Fall chanting from the Griot histories of Senegal, West Africa.

GAMELAN ANAK SWARASANTI
Gamelan Anak Swarasanti, based in Santa Cruz, California, is an award-winning Balinese gamelan orchestra performing professionally throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond in a wide variety of settings.




GAMELAN SWARASANTI
Gamelan Swarasanti is a Balinese Gamelan orchestra supported by UCSC and members of the Santa Cruz community that plays both the four-tone Gamelan Angklung style of gamelan, and the processional or marching Gamelan Beleganjur.

SambaDa
SambaDá is based in Santa Cruz, California and was formed in 1997 by native Brazilian Papiba Godinho who brought together a group of artists to create music that would fuse the rhythmic base of folkloric Brazilian percussion and vocals with contemporary instruments.

SambaDá (prounounced SAMBA-DA) performs original and popular dance music, which draws upon various styles within the Brazilian genre as well as incorporating reggae, funk, rock, rap and hip-hop with a Brazilian twist.




WATSONVILLE TAIKO
Led by Ikuyo Conant, Shinsei Daiko seeks to present a refined art form and presentation of Taiko drumming, combining drumming with folklore, mythology and symbolism.
